Funded by NHS England (NHSE) and FCDO Ghana, the Managed Education Partnership (Ghana) programme (MEPG) will provide a grant to one NHS Trust or consortium to collaborate on health systems and health worker capacity development between England and Ghana on the theme of mental health. This opportunity will have many benefits for the selected NHS Trust and staff.

  • For staff, the fellowships offer reciprocal leadership development opportunities for clinical and non-clinical staff to experience health systems across the globe and returning Fellows demonstrate new skills, and improved motivation and resilience, contributing to career progression and retention within the health sector.
  • For the NHS Trust, by hosting health professionals from Ghana you will have the opportunity to look at mental health through a multi-cultural lens and share learning.
