Launch of Health Technology Management Programme

THET is excited to announce our partnership with Gradian Health Systems on THET’s Health Technology Management Programme in Zambia which aims to support the Ministry of Health in reducing the knowledge gap between the newly graduated BMETs that will be entering the work force and the existing crew in the field.

Gradian Health Systems is a non-profit medical technology company that works to transform the impact of medical equipment in low-resource hospitals around the world. THET is partnering with them for one year to support the in-service training of two Biomedical Engineering Technologists (BMETs), from Luapula and Western provinces, as part of our wider Health Technology Management Improvement Programme and their project to reduce maternal and neonatal deaths in Zambia. Gradian are also support our development of national Standard Operation Procedures and a training course to guide BMETs on their implementation.
