Prof. Muhammad Bakari Kambi

Professor Kambi first trained as a Doctor in Internal Medicine at the University of Dar es Salaam, going on to specialise in Demato-venereology including HIV at the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden.

Professor Kambi has since been the Professor of Internal Medicine at the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) in Tanzania and most recently served as the Chief Medical Officer, Ministry of Health, Community, Development, Gender, Elderly and Children in Tanzania from September 2015 to April 2020.
