Global Placement Bursaries for Health Partnerships
We are delighted to announce the call for applications for the Global Placement Bursaries for Health Partnerships – Round 1 (GPBHP).
Funded by Health Education England and managed by THET, Round 1 of the GPBHP will see up to 10 Health Partnerships receive funding to enable England’s NHS workforce to engage in global health by supporting partners in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
Partnerships can bid for bursaries of up to £5,000 for virtual or in-person volunteering placements running from August to December 2022. These placements are designed to lay the groundwork for, or to conduct, training and capacity development to LMIC health institutions, while demonstrating benefits back to the NHS.
